A minimalist spring-wire ligature for alto saxophone. Instead of a heavy metal band, a gold-tone wire coil wraps around the mouthpiece and holds the reed with even, gentle pressure. With so little contact the reed vibrates freely, giving a warm, open and responsive sound that suits jazz and pop playing.
