The BOMGE U404 is a four-channel desktop audio interface for bands, home studios and podcast setups that have outgrown a 2-input box. Four combo inputs take microphones, guitars, keyboards or line-level gear at the same time, and each one records to its own track on your computer. Four separate XLR outputs, a 5-pin MIDI port and an XMOS USB chip with BOMGE's own ASIO driver round it out in a metal chassis.
Highlights
- True 4-in / 4-out: four independent input tracks and four independent outputs, routable in the driver's control panel
- 4 combo XLR/6.35mm inputs, each with its own Line/Inst switch, gain knob and clip/signal LEDs
- +48V phantom power for condenser microphones (one switch on the rear panel)
- Direct Monitor button for zero-latency monitoring, plus a 6.35mm headphone output with its own level knob
- MIDI In/Out (5-pin DIN) for keyboards and hardware synths
- XMOS audio processor + ASIO low-latency driver with a routing/status control panel
- Works with Mac and Windows DAWs such as Ableton Live, Pro Tools and Cubase
- Dedicated 5V/2A USB-C power socket: run it from a phone charger, power bank or computer
